Once upon a time (in November 2024 lol), I visited a romance bookstore that the 2SLGBTQIA+ section had 2 books. It was frustrating to me to be so incredibly unrepresented. Fated Hearts Bookstore will be a spot where you can find stories that tug at your heartstrings, are seeping with passion, and are full of characters that are just like you!
Our Name Story
Fated Hearts is used in this way as a trope.
to be a fated heart is to be destined to be together. originating with the red string theory in Chinese mythology, an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet from pinky to pinky, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. Or if you’re a Swiftie, you may recognize that idea from the song ‘Invisible String’ [Folklore].
I believe so wholeheartedly, especially in my own love story, that you can be destined for a soulmate - so this name is a lil homage to the fact that my wife and i just barely missed eachother for years until it was our perfect time to meet.
